Why We Pray Together

Prayer is not a formality at The River Bible Church — it is how we carry one another. Scripture tells us to pray for one another, and we take that seriously. Over the years this little church has prayed through cancer diagnoses, wayward children, marriages on the edge, job losses, and the quiet griefs nobody else knows about. We would be honored to pray through whatever you are carrying right now.

What Happens When You Submit

Your request goes directly and privately to our pastoral team. We read every request, and we pray over each one by name during our weekly prayer time. If you ask us to keep it confidential, it stays between you and the pastoral team — it is never read aloud, printed in a bulletin, or shared with the congregation unless you tell us we may.

There is no request too big or too small. People write to us about health concerns, family struggles, big decisions, loved ones who don't know Christ, thanksgiving for answered prayer, and questions they are wrestling with about God. Some requests come with a name attached; others are anonymous, and both are welcome. If you would like a pastor to call you, just check the box below and someone will reach out — usually within a day or two.
