Next Steps
Get Baptized
Take your next step of faith and publicly declare what Jesus has done in your life.

Why Baptism?
Baptism is one of the most powerful moments in the life of a believer. It's the public way Jesus has given us to say, "I belong to Him." When you go under the water, you're declaring that your old life is gone. When you come up, you're declaring that you are alive in Christ — washed, forgiven, and made new.
Jesus Himself was baptized, and He commanded His followers to do the same. If you've put your faith in Him, baptism is your next step.
"Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life."

Where We Baptize
In the Church & In the River
In our church. Year-round, we baptize right here in our indoor baptistry as part of our Sunday gatherings. Your church family gets to stand with you and celebrate.
In the river. When the weather is warm, we love to gather down at the river for outdoor baptisms — just like believers have done for two thousand years. There's nothing quite like it.
How It Works
Three Simple Steps
1. Believe
Baptism is for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ — trusting in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of their sins.
2. Decide
Talk with one of our pastors or a leader. We'll meet with you, hear your story, and answer any questions you have about taking this next step.
3. Be Baptized
Invite your family and friends to celebrate with you as you publicly declare your faith — either in our church baptistry or in the river when the weather is warm.
Common Questions
What is baptism?
Baptism is a public declaration of an inward decision. Going under the water symbolizes the death and burial of your old life; coming up out of the water symbolizes new life in Christ. It doesn't save you — Jesus does — but it is the first step of obedience after putting your faith in Him.
Where do you baptize?
We baptize right in our church year-round in our indoor baptistry. When the weather is warm, we also love to head down to the river for outdoor baptisms — there's something powerful about being baptized in God's creation alongside your church family.
Do I need to be a member?
No. Baptism is for anyone who has placed their trust in Jesus. You don't need to have everything figured out — you just need to have said yes to Him.
Can my child be baptized?
Yes — when your child can understand the gospel and make a genuine personal decision to follow Jesus. Our pastors would love to meet with you and your child together to talk it through.
What do I wear?
Wear something modest you don't mind getting wet — typically a dark t-shirt and shorts. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. We'll take care of the rest.
How long does it take?
The baptism itself takes just a moment. We'll share your story (or you can), pray over you, and baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
